Detailed descriptions of each list:
PARSHA - The Original Series:
This list sends out a weekly shiur
that focuses on the theme and structure of each Parsha. Early in the week,
you will be sent a battery of questions for preparation for that shiur,
(and for additional self study). Later in the week (usually on Wednesday),
you will receive the weekly shiur. [Sometimes you may even receive
two or three shiurim, possibly including a shiur on the weekly haftara, depending on the week.]
You have the option to receive the shiurim in any of the following formats:
- parsha - Standard - Sent as a regular e-mail message in simple ASCII format
- parsha.w - Word - Sent as an attachment file in Word 7 format
- par-vcr - Sent as ZIP file attachment to your e-mail in HTML V.C.R. [Virtual ClassRoom] format
- parsha.h - A Hebrew Translation, sent as an attachment in Word 7 format. You'll need to have
Word 7 for Hebrew to read this file.
Note:This series is basically a repeat of the original series of Parsha shuirim
that have been sent out by the TSC over the last several years. Each year,
the shiurim are usually slightly revised. If you are on this list, you will also
receive any new shiurim (that are sent to the 'par-new' list).

Abstract - is a list that will send a
weekly absract (approx. one page) of the TSC Parsha shiurim that are
sent out each week. The full version of the shiurim are available each week on the
home page of the TSC website, or can be subscribed to via email - the parsha list (see
above)

NEW PARSHA - This list is designed for 'old timers' who
have been on the list for over a year and would like to receive only new (or heavily revised)
shiurim (but not repeats). This list will also send out new questions for preparation and parshanut.
You have the option to receive the shiurim in any of the following formats:
- par-new - Standard - Sent as a regular e-mail message in simple ASCII format
- par-new.w - Word - Sent as an attachment file in Word 7 format

PARSHA LITE - This list is designed for those who want to
receive only one shiur each week (but not the questions for self study. The first year this shiur will
usually be an abridged version of the original TSC Parsha series.
You have the option to receive the shiurim in any of the following formats:

- parsha.h - A Hebrew Translation, sent as an attachment in Word 7 format. You'll need to have
Word 7 for Hebrew to read this file.

NAVI - This list sends out a bi-weekly shiur on Neviim Rishonim,
as well as questions for preparation. (You will be able to follow the shiur even if you don't prepare.)
The series covers between one to four chapters per week, depending on the topic and the week.
